Important Pricing Note
For Food & Beverage / Ingredients categories only:
Use the "Price per lb" field and enter estimated case weight to calculate total pricing automatically. This helps display accurate pricing for variable-weight items (e.g., meat, produce).
For all other categories (Disposable Supplies, Kitchen Equipment, Packaging, Restaurant Supplies, Staffing & Labor Services, etc.):
You do not need to touch the lb-based calculation fields. Simply enter your regular price (fixed or per unit) and leave the weight-related fields blank or at default.
Note: lb-based pricing (Price per lb, Variable weight, Avg Case Weight) is only required for Food & Beverage or Ingredients categories. For all other categories, ignore these fields and set your standard price.
